The spare parts tin
Missing or broken parts
Nothing in a kit is irreplaceable. We keep the cutting files for every model we have ever sold, including ones we no longer make, so a split wall or a snapped chair leg is a matter of cutting another one. Write to us with the kit name and the sheet number and we will send a replacement.
Lights are the other common ask. LED strands and battery packs are stocked loose, and we would rather post you a wire than have a finished house sit dark.
Returns and refunds
Returns, refunds and order cancellations are handled by our partner store under their own policy, because that is where the payment was taken. Their returns window is generous and their help desk resolves most claims the same day.
If the problem is a defect rather than a change of mind, tell us as well. A recurring defect means something is wrong in our workshop, and we would like to know about it before the next batch.
What is not covered
Glue in the wrong place, a part cut off the sheet with scissors instead of a knife, a panel sanded through — these happen to everybody, including us, and they are not defects. Write anyway. We will usually cut you a new part and say nothing about it.
