Flever Happy House — Dollhouse Miniature DIY House Kit

$19.48

4.0 · 334 notes

Happy House is the lilac one. Two storeys, white trim, a bay window on each floor and a roof line with enough angles in it to keep the build interesting. It is the kit we reach for when somebody asks for a classic dollhouse shape without a classic dollhouse price.

Furniture comes with the house rather than separately, so the rooms are already planned: a sitting room below, a bedroom above, and stairs that actually land where they should. One light strand runs the whole house. If you have built nothing before, this is a sensible place to start.

It sits mid-shelf of 10 dollhouse kits, builders have left it 4.0 out of five across 334 notes, and it is in stock as we write this.

A dollhouse is a story told in rooms, so Happy House starts as a drawing of the building and ends as a dozen boxes of loose parts — flowers for the garden, crockery for the shelves, a lamp for every landing. We build this miniature house kit once on our own bench before the first DIY kit leaves the workshop.

What arrives in your Flever miniature kit

  • Numbered laser-cut sheets for the facade, the floors, the staircase and the roof.
  • Flat-packed dollhouse furniture for every room in the house.
  • Several LED light wires and battery packs, so each floor can be lit on its own.
  • Fabric, printed paper, paper flowers and the small decorations for the garden.
  • Glue, tweezers, tape and sanding sticks.
  • A photographed booklet that takes the build floor by floor.

How the DIY build goes

  1. Measure the shelf before you choose — these are the largest kits we make, and the finished house wants to be seen from the front rather than wedged in a gap.
  2. Decide whether you want a home or a shop: the shop models give you a lit sign and a street side, the houses give you more rooms.
  3. Count your evenings honestly. If a month of them is not available, build a miniature room kit now and keep the dollhouse for the winter.

Every Flever dollhouse is drawn, cut, built once and only then packed — we would rather find the awkward step ourselves than have you find it on a Sunday evening.

Notes from people who built it

“This house was a lot of fun, and a lot of work! I had never made a model in such small detail, but I love miniatures so I wanted to try. The instructions are in color and very well done, for the most part. It took me a while to learn how to refer back to each labeled bag to get the pieces I needed in each step.”

“I just love how tiny it is. Took a long time to put together because I kept taking long breaks but it's a great product”
