Flever Jenny's Greenhouse — DIY Miniature Room Kit

$27.98

4.3 · 184 notes

Jenny's Greenhouse is a glasshouse on a raised base: arched glazing bars, a black frame, staging down both sides and more planting than any other kit we make. The transparent panels mean there is nowhere to hide a clumsy joint, which is half the pleasure of building it.

Set aside an evening just for the plants. Each one is assembled from separate leaves and a wire stem, and the arrangement on the staging is yours to decide. The lighting is deliberately low and warm so that the glazing catches it along the bars rather than flooding the interior.

It is one of the larger kits on this shelf of 35 room kits, builders have left it 4.3 out of five across 184 notes, and it is in stock as we write this.

We design every room the way we design our dollhouse kits: a story first, then the furniture that story needs, then the boxes of loose parts — flowers, jars, a folded newspaper — that make Jenny's Greenhouse look lived in. Everything in this DIY miniature house kit is cut in our own workshop, and we build one before we pack any.

What arrives in your Flever miniature kit

  • Numbered sheets of laser-cut MDF and card for the walls, floor and furniture.
  • Fabric, printed paper, paper flowers and the small decorations that dress the room.
  • An LED light wire with a battery pack for the house lights.
  • Glue, tweezers, double-sided tape and a sanding stick.
  • A clear plexiglass dust cover for the open front.
  • A step-by-step booklet with a photograph for every stage.

How the DIY build goes

  1. Decide where it will stand first — a bookshelf gap, a desk corner or a display cabinet — and filter this shelf by the size that fits.
  2. Pick the scene you would like to look at every day rather than the one with the most parts; a simple room you finish beats a crowded one you abandon.
  3. If this is a first DIY kit, choose something under forty dollars and keep the ambitious house for the second build.

Every Flever room kit is designed, cut and packed by the same small workshop, and we build one of each ourselves before it ever goes on sale.

Notes from people who built it

“Such a cute cat coffee house! It takes awhile to put together but is worth every minute! There are durable, small parts and everything is labeled to make it easy. There are also 3 lights that add to the beauty!”

“My daughter picked this kit out for a Christmas gift I got for her, this is her 2nd diy little house because we loved it so much the first time! She was 16 the 1st one, 18 now so it's more of a shelf piece more than a play with thing for our house but definitely could be used to actually play with for smaller children.”
